No. 045/08/63 / Th XV, August 6, 2012: SOUTH KALIMANTAN ECONOMIC GROWTH QUARTER II- 2012

South Kalimantan's economy in the second quarter of 2012 grew by 14.12% (q to q) and when compared to the same quarter last year grew 6.03% (y-on-y). With the amount of GDP on Current Market Prices in the second quarter of 2012 reached Rp 19.16 trillion, while GDP at constant prices in the same quarter in 2000 was Rp 8.73 trillion.

Three sectors that experienced the highest growth (q-to-q) is 65.42% agricultural sector, trade, hotels and restaurants 3,72% and the services sector 3.72%. As for growth (y-on-y) was 8.77% in the construction sector, trade, hotels and restaurants 8.36% and the financial sector, leasing and services companies 7.24%.

Cumulatively, through the first half of 2012, the economy growing South Kalimantan (c to c) of 6.21% compared to the first half of last year.

GDP structure the second quarter of 2012 was dominated by the mining sector, agriculture, and trade, hotels and retoran, respectively accounted for 23.87%, 21.26%, and 15.20% of the total GDP

From the demand side (demmand side), all components use has increased, especially exports which grew 10.64% compared to the previous quarter, government consumption component and a component of 9.75% Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) amounted to 5.86%.
Encouragement of economic growth on the demand side is household consumption amounted to 45.41%, 14.63%, government consumption, GFCF 19.90% and 14.33% net exports are made up of exports and imports 67.87% 53.54% ,
