Abstract

• In Tanjung City, in November 2018 deflation was 0.23 percent. The inflation rate for the calendar year 2018 (November 2018 against December 2017) inflation was 1.91 percent and the inflation rate "year on year" was 3.52 percent. Commodities experiencing price declines with the highest share of deflation in Tanjung City include: race chicken, sweet corn, cassava leaves, long beans, green mustard greens.
• Out of 82 cities that calculated the consumer price index, there were 70 cities experiencing inflation, the highest inflation in Merauke city at 2.05 percent, and the lowest in Balikpapan city at 0.01 percent, and 12 cities experiencing deflation, the highest deflation in Medan at 0 , 64 percent, the lowest in Pematang Siantar city by 0.01 percent.
