Abstract

South Kalimantan's economy in 2014 as measured by Gross Domestic Product Regioal (GDP) at current prices reached Rp 131.6 trillion and GDP per capita reached USD 33.5 million or US $ 2 883.5.

South Kalimantan 2014 economic growth slowed compared to 4.85 percent in 2013 amounted to 5.36 percent. On the production side, the highest growth achieved by Business Sector Procurement Electricity and Gas by 15.51 percent. On the expenditure side the highest growth achieved by Component Consumption Expenditures Non-profit Organization of 14.43 percent.

South Kalimantan Economic fourth quarter of 2014 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2013 (y-on-y) grew by 4.03 percent slowed when compared to the same period the previous year amounted to 5.55 percent.

South Kalimantan Economic fourth quarter of 2014 contracted by 3.92 percent compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q). On the production side, this is due to seasonal effects in the business field of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries who grew minus 34.9 percent. On the expenditure side caused by the Import Component.
