Abstract

General Explanation
Consumer Tendency Index ( CTI ) is the latest indicator of economic development generated by the Central Bureau of Statistics Consumer Tendency Survey . CTI is a composite index of households' perception of economic conditions on consumer spending behavior of consumers and collected data on a quarterly basis in the panel . In 2014 consumer tendency survey conducted every quarter with a sample of the first quarter of 2014 amounted to 194 households . Respondents this surveys is a subsample of the National Labor Force Survey ( Sakernas ) in urban areas . The sample selection is done between the quarter panel ( the same respondents for each quarter ) to obtain a more accurate picture of the changes in consumer perceptions over time .
Consumer Economic Conditions First Quarter 2014

Consumer Tendency Index ( CTI ) Kalimantan Selatan in the first quarter of 2014 amounted to 111.47 means consumers generally assume that economic conditions are generally better than the previous quarter .

The level of consumer confidence in Kalimantan Selatan in the first quarter of 2014 , higher than the fourth quarter of 2013 ( first quarter CTI value of 111.47 in 2014 , higher than the fourth quarter (CTI -2013 which showed at 105.74 ) .

Consumers Economic Estimates Second Quarter 2014

CTI South Kalimantan second quarter of 2014 is estimated at 109.13 . This means that consumers are still optimistic that the economic condition of consumers in the second quarter of 2014 , is expected to be better than the first quarter of 2014.
