No. 24 /05/63/Th.XVI, May 1, 2012 DEVELOPMENT OF EXCHANGE RATE FARMERS AND PRODUCER PRICES GABAH MONTHS APRIL 2012

In April 2012, Farmer (NTP) South Kalimantan recorded 108.27, up 0.03 percent compared to NTP in March 2012 that reached 108.24. The rise is due to the NTP index of prices received by farmers (It) rose by 0.13 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) increased only by 0.10 percent.

Judging from subsectors, four subsectors of agriculture has increased NTP and one subsector decreased. The increase in NTP occur in Horticulture subsector amounted to 0.60 percent, the People's Crops subsector by 0.68 percent, 0.30 percent subsector Livestock and fisheries subsector of 0.22 percent. The decline occurred in the subsector NTP Food Plants of 0.42 percent.

The rise in the price index of Household Consumption rural indicated that a 0.09 percent inflation in rural areas due to rising food index in the subgroup so by 0:41 percent, 0.48 percent of housing subgroups, subgroups of clothing at 0:07 percent, health 0.10 percent subgroup, the subgroup education, recreation and sports amounted to 12:10 per cent, and transport and communications sub-group at 0.23 percent. Meanwhile subgroup of foodstuffs fell by 0.08 percent.

In April 2012, the East Java province rose highest FTT of 0.67 percent, whereas the West Java Provincial highest NTP decreased by 0.60 percent.
