No. 20 /04/63/Th.XVI, 2 April 2012 DEVELOPMENT OF EXCHANGE RATE FARMERS AND PRODUCER PRICES IN MARCH 2012 GABAH

In March 2012, Farmer (NTP) South Kalimantan recorded 108.24, down 0.01 percent compared with NTP in February 2012 that reached 108.26. The fall is due to the NTP index of prices received by farmers (It) only increased by 0.16 percent, while the index of prices paid by farmers (Ib) increased by 0.17 percent.

Judging from subsectors, two agricultural sub-sector increased NTP and three subsectors decreased. The increase occurred in the subsector NTP Plant Food by 0.03 percent, and the Horticultural subsector amounted to 0.18 per cent. The decline occurred in the subsector Ranch NTP at 0.04 percent, the People's Crops subsector of 12:41 percent and fisheries subsector by 0.26 percent.

The rise in the price index of Household Consumption countryside 0.15 percent indicates the occurrence of the countryside due to rising inflation index in the subgroup of processed food amounted to 0.70 percent, clothing subgroup of 12:49 percent, health by 0.61 percent subgroups, subgroups of education, recreation and sports at 0:06 percent , and the subgroup of transportation and communications at 0.87 percent, while the subgroup of foodstuffs fell by 0.04 percent and subgroups of housing fell by 0.17 percent.

In March 2012, West Kalimantan Province NTP highest increase at 1.12 percent, whereas Central Java province has decreased NTP high of 0.86 percent.
