According to Population Census 2020 at 2023 in Tabalong Regency has recorded a population of 263,42 thousand people

Agricultural Census 2013

BPS has conducted Census of Agriculture five times: 1963, 1973, 1983, 1993, and 2003. In 2013, BPS re-implement the 10-year cycle activities Agricultural Census.

Agriculture Census is used for planning, policy implementation, and evaluation of agricultural development programs in ministries and relevant agencies (Agriculture, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, Forestry, and Bappenas), universities and international agencies.

Coverage of data collected in the Census of Agriculture 2013 (ST2013) is based on a number of recommendations from the FAO.
